Dear Relatives & Friends of Face Book, hello to everyone. I have a request concerning four wonderful, exemplary and close friends of mine, all Cuban refugees who lived together and all of whom passed away - LUCILA GARCIA, PEDRO GONZALEZ-GARCIA, RAFAEL GARCIA and TERESITA GARCIA, a great loss to myself and to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Not only were they always to be seen at mass but in so many parish activities, whether helping at festivals, parish dinners, setting up for Our Lady’s Festival under the title of Caridad del Cobre, the Patroness of Cuba, teaching English as a Second Language, taking ‘vacation’ trips to Cuba to bring medication and other supplies to people in extreme need.

Through Pedro’s foresight and generosity, we will finally give burial to the remains of these four most wonderful and deserving friends. The total cost will be about $8,000.00. The many friends, especially myself, will be most grateful to you and not forget you before the same altar where they worshipped in the sight of the Shrine of our Lady.

Estimados familiares y amigos de Face Book, b. días a todos. Tengo una petición relativa a cuatro maravillosos, ejemplares cristianos y cercanos amigos míos, todos refugiados cubanos que vivían juntos en n. parroquia y todos los cuales fallecieron: LUCILA GARCÍA, PEDRO GONZÁLEZ-GARCÍA, RAFAEL GARCÍA y TERESITA GARCÍA, una gran pérdida para mí y para la Iglesia nuestra Señora del Perpetuo Socorro. No solo siempre se les veía en la misa, sino en tantas actividades parroquiales, ya sea ayudando en festivales, cenas parroquiales, preparándose para el Festival de Nuestra Señora de la Caridad del Cobre, la Patrona de Cuba, enseñando inglés como segundo idioma, haciendo viajes de "vacaciones" a Cuba para llevar medicamentos y otros suministros a personas en extrema necesidad.

Debido a la previsión y generosidad de Pedro, por fin daremos sepultura a los restos de estos cuatro amigos tan maravillosos y merecedores. El costo total será de aproximadamente $8,000.00.
