Anthony Noel Nealis passed away on Monday August 9, 2021 at 12:39 pm at Southlake Hospital in Clermont, Florida. My father immigrated to Chicago from Dublin when he was just 18-years-old with very little money. He was a talented bagpiper, a hard worker, and a great man who loved his family above all and fell on hard times often. Despite being forced into intensive care for nine months and left permanently disabled due to a reckless, uninsured driver, my father managed to pay his hospital bills at the time and give my mother, brother and I the best life he could. But that incident would not even prove to be the worst one, as he would also be the victim of a botched surgery years later that would leave him without an esophagus and permanently living on a feeding tube. My father passed away from resulting complications today after fighting hard for many years.  

My father had a very difficult life but he was a great man. He was a wonderful father and husband and did the best with what he had and never complained. My mother desperately needs help for his memorial services as she cannot get by with the little bit of money she has left. Please help us reach our goal. If you can’t donate please share.
