Burial Costs for Disabled Veteran, Chad Price
Donation protected
Hello to all of our family, friends and loved ones, and those that may come across this message because of those connections. Chad was the most beautiful soul and had a heart of gold. Anyone that truly knew him would agree. He was a beloved son, father, brother and friend. When he was a young father, he felt drawn to serve his country and enlisted in the Army, where he quickly rose through the ranks during his tenure to become a decorated Sergeant, honorably serving two tours in Iraq during the Second Persian Gulf War. Upon returning home after his second tour of duty, Chad struggled with severe PTSD and grappled with finding his place in the world at times. In spite of it all, he continued to be the amazing human being he always was and that we knew and loved. He just struggled to love himself at times. Although he never wanted to be called a hero, he was a hero to many way before the war and will be missed terribly.
We're reaching out for help in his honor. Chad lived a humble life after the war, surviving on his disability pension from the Army. To our knowledge at this time, he did not have any life insurance that would prepare him and us in the event of his passing. We also do not have access to any of his funds at this point in order to pay for a proper burial and memorial service. The only thing that Chad said he would want is to be buried amongst his fallen brothers and sisters at the Texas State Cemetery in Killeen, receiving the military funeral he so deserved for the sacrifices he gave for his country and for all of us.
We ask that if you feel led in your heart to give anything that would assist us with giving him the proper burial and memorial that he deserves, we would be forever grateful. Though some of the costs for Chad's burial will be covered by the military, there are still significant costs required. All funds will go to pay for his burial and memorial services and any funds left over will go to his two adolescent sons.
We thank you, sweet friends and loved ones!
