6 months ago my son Joshua Burden and his wife Jennifer, parents to 4 handsome boys, were told the exciting news ... twin girls were to be their next blessing...
Not soon afterward, things became complicated... medically the girls were in danger and so was their mom.
My son could not work full time due to weekly trips with his wife to a hospital over an hour away and was denied unemployment. My daughter in law could also not work. Their full time jobs became keeping the family together and getting the girls here as safely as possible.
On May 22, 2019 Amy and Emma made their way into the world, by c-section. At 25 weeks each weighed a little over 1 pound.
Our hearts were broken when Amy gained her angel wings at 28 hours old.
Emma continues to be our "Mini girl"... fighting every minute to stay with us in the NICU at JSMH in Neptune, NJ.
As the nurses say... Amy is our angel in heaven...Emma is our angel on Earth!
Right now, with bills mounting and still not able to work , arrangements for Amy need to be completed and time needing to be spent with the boys to help them understand, Mommy to be every where at once . Jennifer is still in the hospital with blood pressure being a dangerous issue.. we are in dire need of help.
Prayers are needed daily and financial help for my family. Everyday bills have accumulated and have become overwhelming. Any help would be appreciated.
