Bunny’s need for help

Hi everyone, my name is Bunny. I’m 21 and moved from Florida to Sweden at age 18 after a childhood dream of wanting to live here. It’s been an absolute blast, I’ve made friends, gotten into a relationship, gotten work, and just had the best time possible here.

Some of you may know me from streaming on Twitch, meeting me at a party, bartending, or volunteering at events. I’m pretty much everywhere!

My hobbies include taking care of animals, napping, coding, and video games.

Unfortunately, last year, my permit expired, and I immediately applied right away for a new one. Everyone who lives in Sweden knows the immigration agency here (Migrationsverket) needs a revamp and has a lot of issues. What that means for me sadly is that I cannot get unemployment help (finding a new job and getting funds while looking for new jobs), access SFI (Swedish For Immigrants, a government program to help immigrants learn Swedish for free), and more, while I wait. It’s been over a year and a half since I applied. I have been managing decently until about January when I lost my job. As much as it was a miserable job that treated me poorly, it was keeping a roof over my head, and after company cutbacks, I could no longer work there. I have been able to work a few odd jobs since, bartending and waitressing, gaining me some money. I still apply for jobs daily and try networking as much as possible to find a steady income. I do Twitch, dog walking, and other side jobs to make ends meet. Unfortunately, none of it is enough, and my bills will soon go to debt collectors, and I am behind on rent which might put me out of a place to live. As much as I have a hard time asking for help, I need to. I have little to no other options. I have asked family and friends, and I work hard when I do get jobs to make money and try to find more work. I recently got the opportunity to work at Lollapalooza and other extraordinary events! I also volunteer when I can to help the community, do great work, meet new people, and hopefully land a job somewhere I like.

Just like others during the pandemic, I lost my first job and had a hard time finding a new one. That’s where the debt started.

My ask to you through Gofundme is to help me not have my debts reach debt collectors and have them come take my things (I am already selling so much of my belongings and I have unfortunately had to part with my pets to cut costs) and to help me pay rent and keep a roof over my head. My cost breakdowns are as such so you know what I’m paying for.

I pay monthly rent at 4,500kr

Klarna and Anyfin payments at 20,000kr a month (I've been in debt with them a long time and have been paying them off for 2 years),

and paying my friends off only at around 400kr.

Necessities like food, phone bills, and others (I have cut out all fun subscriptions and games and the like), at around 1,500kr.

As you can see, with just dog walks and the like it’s not very easy to pay off things every month. And I have not been able to get the medical or mental help I require by going to therapy and getting medication purely because the costs are too much. I have been diagnosed with depression, anxiety, and CPTSD. These money problems have added severely to it.

The rest would go to rent and to build me savings while I have no job. I am still prioritizing getting myself a job of course, but right now getting myself out of debt with banks and paying rent is the most important to me.
