Lillian is my sweet bunny and emotional support animal, and she means the world to me. I adopted her just a month ago, but in that short time, she’s become my constant companion and has helped my mental health more than anything else ever has. Lillian is gentle, loving, and always comes running to greet me. She never chews on anything she shouldn’t, loves pets and kisses, and bravely takes all her medications every day.
Lambert is my other emotional support bunny and although he is newer into my life, he has already left an imprint on my heart. He loves being pet and is so very sweet. He has a spunky personality and loves to thump his foot to let me know when I’ve done something wrong. He’s also very protective of Lillian as any good husband would be, in a sweet and loving way of course.
Unfortunately, Lillian has a chronic case of pasteurella (snuffles), which causes her to sneeze and be congested daily. She’s also missing her nasal turbinates, which means she can’t filter out irritants, leading to a painful buildup of pus in her nasal cavities. We don’t know as much about Lambert’s condition, but he is significantly worse than Lillian at the moment with excessive sneezing and nasal discharge. As a college student, I’ve already spent a significant amount on emergency vet bills when Lillian went into GI stasis, and I simply can’t afford all of the unforeseen vet bills on my own. This GoFundMe has been updated to cover all of their general vet expenses since it has been decided that the bilateral rhinotomy is too risky for Lillian to undergo at this time. I have to take them to the vet often to reevaluate their treatment plans and ensure they’re getting the best care. Thank you so much for considering helping Lambert, Lillian, and I.
