It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that I share the sudden and unexpected passing of my oldest and only daughter, Bunny Martinez. Bunny passed away on June 9th, 2024. She was daughter, sister, aunt, and most importantly a loving mother to her 12 year-old son Isaiah Hernandez.

Bunny Martinez, 39, and Jessie Lopez, 26, died following the crash that happened near 7600 Woodman Avenue at around 9:29 p.m. June 9.

According to pppp report, Martinez and Lopez were walking in the area when they were hit by an Amtrak Pacific Surfliner train.
