Hi, Ian Smyth here of the Dairy Cottage Bunmahon, you probably know it as its the thatched cottage in the centre of the village. I have been in the process of restoring the local tennis court with a view to setting up the Bunmahon Tennis club in the near future. The court was in a bad state of disrepair and with the help of Jerome Foley and others at our own expense and effort we have got it playable again. To complete the task we need to build walls and fences around, fix or replace the tennis posts and repair damaged sections of the tarmac court where required. We can add seating. Patios and planting around to make this great court beautiful again. Please donate what you can and I will put it all to good use for the local peoples benefit and enjoyment. Lets get playing.
