Bungle aka Chris Elshaw

Hi my name is Richard, l'm Chris's dad, I am setting up this page to raise money as we lost our beloved son Chris and hope to give him a funeral he so rightly deserves. Chris served 13 years as a chef in the army, multiple tours of Iraq, Afghanistan and the Falklands, making many friends along the way. Serving the Queen was one of Chris's biggest pride in life, his other being his 3 children Lewis, Max, and Millie. Despite a serious career, he still had plenty of time to show a less serious side. His love for Sheffield Wednesday football club, shit joke Sunday and his time working at McDonald's were all massive parts of his life too. He made many friends worldwide through social media and enjoyed receiving all the messages he got. His move back up north reunited him with his family and school friends, he even spent a brief time working for barnsley Council before his ill health meant that he could no longer work. Recently he had other medical problems which resulted in another diagnosis of his cancer which he had already beaten once, this combined with damage from his first diagnosis resulted in him sadly passing away peacefully on 31st July, surrounded by his family and children. Chris remained larger than life right until the end, bringing joy, happiness and laughter to everyone who was lucky enough to know him. He was always a fighter but this battle was one too many and Chris could no longer fight. He deserves a funeral that represents the amazing individual he was, and we alone are unable to provide this and so we reach out to his many friends to help us to fulfill our wish giving him the send off he deserves. Any donations big or small would be greatfully accepted and anything left after the funeral will go to his 3 amazing children that he leaves behind, who he loved most dearly.
