Students who attend The Bungello have been learning about the importance of charities in our community as part of their Life Skills work. Following a visit to Birmingham Dogs home the group has decided to support this charity over the next half term by collecting donations and completing a sponsored walk!

Birmingham Dogs Home looks after over 2000 stray and abandoned dogs per year accross its Birmingham and Wolverhampton sites at a cost of over £4million. They are completely reliant on donations and generosity of the public.

Students will be collecting bedding and towels to help create comfortable and homely kennels for the dogs (donations can be dropped at Ellowes Hall School). They will also be undertaking a sponsored walk to the top of Kniver Edge to raise money to support running costs of the home.
