Hello everyone! My name is James Boyd...aka Bump. On July 4, 2022, I was admitted into the hospital. At that time, I was told that I needed a heart transplant. On July 13, 2022, I had open-heart surgery to receive an LVAD while I wait for a transplant. Fast forward to almost three years... On February 17, I was blessed to receive my heart transplant.

As many of you may know, moving forward, the out-of-pocket expenses vary for each patient. It is estimated that post-transplant out-of-pocket expenses can reach over $2,700.00 a month. After receiving a transplant, focused follow-up medical care is required. For the six months after surgery, these care costs could reach up to $270,000.

We greatly appreciate all of the love and support that we have received this far. However, I am in need of more help.
