Bumi Needs Help

Hello friends,

My name is Liam and my sweet little kitty Bumi is very sick and needs help. He has not eaten in 5 days and is in a lot of pain. Without further testing and treatment, Bumi may not have much time left.

My girlfriend Mia and I got Bumi less than a year ago when she moved to DC for school. There were so many kittens when we arrived from the adoption event but Bumi immediately caught our eyes. He was the last of his litter left so he was all alone in a crate. His cute, soft eyes bulged out of his teeny skull, begging us to take him home. We fell in love with him right away and rushed to adopt him.

Since then Bumi has brought immense joy to our lives. Even when he wakes me up a couple of hours before my alarm I can't get angry because he stares at me with huge beautiful eyes and a little mousey face. He likes to nap in the sunshine on our windowsill. He's a very social cat who loves to meet new people and will often sit on someone's shoulders. He's a caring protector of his little sister Toph, and a really important part of our family.

I am still in school as well and don't start working until June so Bumi's sickness came at the worst time for us. We know everyone has their own budgets, priorities, and emergencies so we don't expect anyone to help us out with Bumi. But if you feel that you can contribute to Bumi's medical expenses we would greatly appreciate it. He is less than a year old and has the potential for a long happy life with us.
