I never thought I would be writing something like this about Mikey for a second time; however, here we are with round 2 of terrible news.
Mikey is a friend to everyone. He’s the person who shows up without being asked, who makes people laugh when they need it most, and who gives more of himself than he ever takes.
He has always been strong for others. Now, he needs us to be strong for him. He has made Williston ND his home
where he works at the usps, After being life-flighted to Bismarck and undergoing a craniotomy to remove some of the tumor and the brain bleed, Mikey has been diagnosed with metastatic malignant melanoma, which has spread to other organs. it's a cruel and aggressive cancer.
This isn’t just a diagnosis; it’s a daily battle for him filled with pain, fear, exhaustion, and uncertainty.
Some days are going to be heavier than others, and no matter how brave he is, this fight is overwhelming.
Watching someone you love endure this is heartbreaking. The treatments and appointments never seem to end. The emotional toll is crushing. On top of all of that comes the financial weight of all his medical bills, travel for care, time away from work, and basic living expenses piling up when his life is already in a constant state of chaos.
This GoFundMe is more than financial help; it’s a way to show Mikey that he is deeply loved and not alone. Every donation, every share, every prayer is a piece of hope being placed into his hands when the road feels too dark.
If you can give, please know that it means more than words can ever express. If you can’t, sharing this and keeping Mikey in your thoughts is just as good.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. And thank you for standing with Mikey in the fight of his life.
Mike will be set up as the beneficiary to receive all funds given. We will also have a benefit account set up for him at the bank soon.
