Bullseye's rescue costs

Donation protected
We are paying £450 a month for Bullseye's monthly kennel fees. We got him safe after he was left in a pen in a garden for SIX MONTHS with his owner having gone abroad. People were coming to feed him (but sometimes not) but that was it. Bullseye, along with his brother Lefty and mum Lucy, were living miserable lives stood on bare concrete with no bed down in a pen with no heating all through the freezing cold winter and never being walked. They were escaping frequently and almost being hit by cars.

Kennel satff tell us that Bullseye cowers when a hand is raised, as does his brother Lefty. Both boys have scars. They can't tell us what they're been through.

Paddy's Dog Rescue is a new rescue based in Wirral formed in April 2025 with limited funds run by a small volunteer team. We don't have a big fundraising drive in operation yet and rely on donations from GoFundMe appeals. We have saved 10 dogs so far, with five in new loving forever homes.

Bulleye will need to be neutered at a cost of £220 and he's had vaccinations, deworming and defleeing.

Bulleye is waiting for his forever home. He's a super friendly boy who has lived outside for so much of his young life. Can someone come foward and show him what love is?

But what we do know is that despite this, Bulleyes is a trusting loving boy who's desperate for a loving family to call his own. Lefty has gone to a loving home leaving Bulleye waiting.

Initially Bullseye pulled on the lead but staff say he's really calmed down and is great on the lead now he's getting regular exercise. He has good recall and doesn't bolt off.
Bullseye needs a calm household, he listens and follows commands when someone is calm around him.

Breed: Doberman-English white cross.
Age: 18 months
Cats: No
Other dogs: Yes following successful introductions.
Children: Could live with older dog savvy kids.
Vaccinated: Yes
Chipped: Yes
Dewormed and defleed: Yes
Neutered: No - we neuter all our dogs before rehoming where possible. With Bullseye we are concerned

Now he's the negative that we are afraid will keep Bullseye in kennels for months or years if someone doesn't give him a chance.

Bullseye can jump a 7 ft fence.... staff tested him in an open top kennel and watched the cheeky monkey jump so high he sat on the wall! But please don't be deterred as there are ways to deal with this including training and higher fences or angeled fence extenders. We also hope that in a loving home where all his needs are met he will be less inclined to want to escape.

Bullseye is located in kennels near Blackpool. We require potential adopters to commit to two or three meets.

Please someone give this boy a chance.
