Help us to pay for Bullseye’s cancer operation and vets bill

Donation protected
Tragically we lost Bullseye yesterday to a complication after the surgery and on the day we were to bring him home.
Severe Colic struck in the final hour after a successful operation 6 days earlier

We are shocked, devastated, heartbroken and a bit lost if I’m honest

Unfortunatley this has increased the vets bill costs for the colic investigations, care, scans, pain killers and other medications then we had to have him put to sleep and costs for removal and cremation.
What a sad end.

UPDATE- BULLSEYE NEEDS THE FULL REMOVAL OPERATION

THE HIGHER UP LUMP IS LIKELY TO COME BACK IF WE DONT DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT NOW!

The decision has been made to do the full removal of his man parts and sheath AFTER more conversations.
Unfortunately this is the more expensive operation that we wanted desperately to avoid.
We have now had to raise the target goal fund and we will keep going until we reach the new target.
Fingers Crossed!

Bullseye is a very special horse and a horse that’s helped thousands of riders regain confidence over the years here on the Rider Confidence Course.

He’s in need of an expensive operation to remove a cancer. It would be remiss of us not to let all the people who’ve made friends with him over the years know what’s going on.

I appreciate and understand the argument that he’s part of a business and why should people pay for someone else’s living - but here we are, he still needs help and has made a LOT of friends over the years here.

Hes getting older now and has had no illness, lameness or a sick day at all.

He’s been such a solid chap and had many a rider come here and have a safe, fun ride on him and he’s taught thousands of riders how to deal with rears and also how to fall off safely on courses that we teach here.

We’ve taken him to The Household Cavalry in Windsor to teach their soldiers how to deal with rears and again how to fall off and avoid injuries.

He worked in film and TV and also on photoshoots and been a great well trained horse for nervous models and actors.

Now unfortunately due to the specialist work we do here with our horses they cannot be insured for medical bills.

No company will do that which can make things difficult at times
So we have to pay for every vets bill we have here which, of course is reasonable.

Last year we lost 2 of our beloved and talented horses to cancer and a sudden colic case.

Again we covered those large vets bills.

Our beautiful Wolf Dog Dora also had to have an operation in spring of this year and we paid for that large unexpected vet’s bill also!

Now Bullseye is needing our help and there just isn’t the funds left to pay for his operation.

Bullseye has had lumps on his man parts for a while now and after investigation by vets it was diagnosed as cancer.

We treated the lumps using chemotherapy cream and have been quite successful apart from now finding a new growth right on the tip of his man bit which is unfortunate and can’t be treated by using the chemotherapy cream now.

We went back to the vets last week for more investigations and we have been told we need to remove the end of his man part which is a fairly big operation under General Anaesthetic in the hospital and we can keep applying the chemo cream to the higher up lump and hope it goes away.

We have been quoted £4,500 for this operation with no complications!

He needs the operation straight away so the funds will be directly used to cover the cost.

If this horse has helped you over the years and anyone can donate whatever they can to help fix Bullseye we would be eternally grateful.

Even if you haven’t met Bullseye but you can donate any amount you can it would be greatly appreciated to get him in the hospital for this much needed operation in the next 2 weeks.

We absolutely hate to ask for donations and it’s not how we prefer to do things but we just don’t have the funds now to cover this operation which needs to happen straight away and have been advised to try this route.

We love Bullseye and need to help him out now.

Thank you all in advance
