Wendy is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She has helped others her entire life and now she and her family need your help.
Here's a little background on Wendy's story:
She is married and has 3 children. She works full-time as a nurse practitioner. Her husband, Jeremy, holds down the fort at home with their 3 children. A few months ago she began having numbness in her left great toe. Being Wendy, she just thought she tripped and broke her toe somehow and continued on her merry way. The numbness began to travel to her foot, ankle, and knee. She sought out an orthopedist who could not find any cause for the numbness. In the course of barely a few months, the numbness would travel all the way up her left side affecting her entire left side. It wasn't until her entire left side was affected that she eventually went to the ER. While at the ER, a MRI of her head was ordered and completed. This is where she and her family learned she had "4 spots" on her brain. She was quickly set up for surgery to look more closely at these spots and take a biopsy. During surgery, it was determined by the neurosurgeon that it is most likely brain cancer. Her surgery was only completed yesterday and they are still awaiting the biopsy results.
This account was set up to immediately help support her family---her husband and 3 young children. Any donations you give will immediately help her young family who is still trying to digest the news of her potential diagnosis. Your thoughts and prayers are also greatly appreciated!
