Brian Sekella aka,”Bulldog” enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in June 1994 and completed Boot Camp at MCRD Parris Island in August of 1994. Moving onto and graduating from the School of Infantry Training, Marine Combat Training Battalion East. Lance Corporal Sekella finished his training and proceeded to MCAS El Toro, CA. where he would proudly serve his country. Receiving the Rank of Corporal of Marines in Jan of 1997, Corporal Sekella would go on to set the highest example of being a Marine by receiving several awards and being recognized as a true asset to his unit. While serving in the Marine Corps, Corporal Sekella would meet the love of his life Luz Sekella. As they would actually be the last wedding on MCAS El Toro. Finally in June 1998, he received his honorable discharge from the United States Marine Corps and settled down in Lake Forest CA with his amazing and loving wife Luz. They would continue a life of servitude by working for the city of Orange County Social Services and eventually having their daughter Kiana in May of 2006.
Brian during this time followed his passion for motorcycles and the Marine Corps as he has continued to mentor the past, present and even future Marines. We say in the Marine Corps no man left behind and Semper Fidelis, all these contribute to the character of who we become on this journey of servitude and sacrifice. For now Corporal Brian “Bulldog” Sekella was diagnosed with stage four cancer and is currently in the hospital fighting for his life. So now we ask of you to remember that no one is left behind and to remember to remain faithful as he has, and support him and his family as he continues to fight to stay alive. Everything helps in ensuring that he and his family have everything they need to endure this battle laid ahead. So please help us help him, and thank you in advance and as we say, Semper Fi.
