My name is Anna Paris, and I am raising money for the Bullard Family.  I have known this family for over 25 years, and they are an extension of my family.  Rich and Shirley Bullard had ten minutes to grab their 3 dogs, necessary paperwork and head to the high school to pick up their son, Jake, before bolting out of the rapidly burning town of Paradise.  

The street, Deer Lane, where their family home is located, is being reported to have nothing left.  However, the family is still waiting for a firm confirmation whether or not their home is one of the "90% " CNN reported on being "destroyed in the town of Paradise."  They are currently staying with my mom by Chico, CA.

Besides the total shock and devastation, the family is feeling for their losses, we are also feeling the sense of urgency to make sure Jake can finish his 9th grade school year.  Jake won student of the year and was granted the Chico State Upward Bound Internship for 2019.   Being an educator, this tugs at my heartstrings.  I would hate to see what is already a devastating loss snowball into a critical missed opportunity for his education.
