Bulgrin Family Mold Repairs

Jaime Smith and Joelle Gosda here, fundraising for Kendra and her family as they have recently discovered that extensive amounts of mold has entered the roof and walls of their home, making it unsafe for their family. Here is what Kendra shared about it on FB...

 

"We recently found out our home has a major mold issue due to decades of ice damming and neglect (we just moved in a year and a half ago). We will need a complete remediation and gut job. It is unsafe for our family to live in the home and we will need to find alternative housing for at least 9 months, maybe longer. My oldest son is disabled (and has a lot of serious health issues) and we need to stay within Waukesha County."

 

They now have an accepted offer on a cute cottage and are moving at the beginning of January. 

 

The current needs are:

Demo Estimate is $35,000 
Renovation Estimate is $42,000

 

-Help with the boys while we pack/move/demo/rebuild (hikes, playground, museums, playdates). We are trying to keep their lives fun and as normal as possible. They are already worried about how the move will affect them (we just moved 1.5 years ago and it was hard on them).

 

-Tyvek disposable suit by Dupont size large (we will be doing some of the demo ourselves)

 

-Husky 42 gallon Contractor Clean-Up 3 mil trash bags (100 pack, 2 sets of 50) Amazon

 

-Can anyone do architectural drawings for when we rebuild?

 

-Vegetarian meals or gift cards to Noodles, Mama D’s, or Qdoba (close restaurants that the boys like)

 

-Home Depot gift card (closest hardware store to us, we can also rent equipment from them)

 

-Help on moving day (truck/extra hands)

 

-Boxes, totes, packaging tape, painters tape, bubble wrap

 

-Rebuilding help

 

-Any connections to a roofer

 

-Any connections to a home siding contractor
