Beste buurtbewoners,
Zoals je misschien al weet, heeft de gemeenteraad van Rijswijk het plan van project Buitenpoort goedgekeurd. Er komen 3 gebouwen, in totaal 144 woningen, en er wordt op korte termijn gestart met de bouw. Helaas heeft ons eerdere bezwaar bij de gemeente niet de gewenste aanpassingen opgeleverd. De torens zijn te hoog, parkeren wordt een probleem en twee torens staan te dicht op de eengezinswoningen.
We gaan een bezwaar indienen bij de Raad van State. Dit is de enige overgebleven manier waarop we nog kans maken het plan tegen te houden. Op dit moment is er een gespecialiseerde advocaat aan de slag om het bezwaar op te stellen. We vragen de Raad om een Voorlopige voorziening, waarmee de bouw voorlopig gestopt zou worden.
De advocaat kost uiteraard geld en daarom kunnen wij jullie hulp goed gebruiken. We vragen jullie om een donatie om zo samen, als buurt, de juridische procedure van het bezwaar te financieren. Het eerste streefbedrag zal de kosten van de jurist voor het bezwaar dekken.

As you may already know, the city council of Rijswijk has approved the plan for the Buitenpoort project. There will be 3 buildings, a total of 144 homes, and construction will start shortly. In our opinion, the towers are too high, parking will become a problem and two of the towers are too close to the single-family homes. Unfortunately, our previous objection did not yield the desired adjustments to the plan. Now, we are going to file an objection with the Council of State. This is the only way to stop the plan. A specialized lawyer is currently working to draft the objection. We are asking the Council for a provisional provision, which would stop construction for the time being.
The lawyer obviously costs money and that is where we can use your help. We ask you for a donation to fund the legal procedure together, as a neighborhood. The first target amount will cover the costs of the lawyer for the objection.
