Building The Freedom Shuttle for Alex
Donation protected
As you know my brother Alex lost his battle with Leukemia this past November. He was not only my big brother, but also my best friend and my other half. I would have done and will continue to do anything for him. Alex was a very simple guy, he wasn't about expensive, new or flashy things, but loved taking something that needed a little..or a lot of TLC and breathing new life into it. From as long as I can remember Alex always knew he wanted a Buick Roadmaster Station wagon with wood grain on the side and he made good on that desire. Alex had grand plans for his Buick Roadmaster and purchased a second one as a parts car with the intention of rebuilding and swapping the 5.3 LS motor from it into his. No matter how sick Alex was, he would still talk of his intentions to make this vision a reality. Alex never had the mind set of "if" I beat this, it was always "when" I beat this. Although God had another plan for Alex, I refuse to let his vision pass away with him. With the man power help of friends and family, I will make it a reality and she WILL lay rubber down as Alex always intended. I have personally allocated all funds needed and have ordered all necessary parts. Our friends have expressed that they would like to help out financially as well as turning wrenches to honor Alex and the light he brought to everyone's life. This Go Fund Me is not to fund the project, but to allow any individuals that would like to donate in his memory to increase the safety net for any unforeseen issues that crop up as they always do when rebuilding a motor. It doesn't have to be a lot..every little bit will help. My family and I are more than grateful for the time we had with Alex and we will not let his light burn out and we appreciate each and every one of you who left footprints in Alex's life.
