For many years SUMC Summer Theatre has been blessed by school and community theatre groups who have been willing to loan additional wireless microphone systems to us. In order to be a good partner with these groups it is important that we begin to decrease our reliance on the ability to borrow such valuable resources. With your support Summer Theatre would like to purchase an additional 5 wireless systems that will be compliant with new FCC regulations and provide years of dependable service.
Rentals are great, they provide tools you don't need every day... trouble is, for years SUMC Summer Theatre has rented much of the same lighting equipment again and again, easily surpassing the purchase price over the years. With your support we would like to purchase 8-10 professional grade LED lighting fixtures that will help to minimize our annual lighting rental while also providing the larger church community (children's & youth ministries, seasonal events etc.) with valuable and professional grade tools.
