Solomon Boltes Memorial Pickleball Courts

Solomon Boltes had a smile that could light up any room—and any court. He loved pickleball, especially the long summer evenings spent playing late into the night with his friends. Those nights were filled with laughter, friendship, and the unmistakable joy Solomon brought wherever he went.

Solomon was an avid and gifted athlete. During his time at Washington High School, he ran cross country, competed on the swim team, and played tennis. Most important to Solo were the relationships, memories, and sense of community that grew around him.

We are raising funds to build the Solomon Boltes Memorial Pickleball Courts as a lasting tribute to Solomon and the life he shared with so many. Our vision is to create a welcoming, public facility with multiple courts, proper court surfaces, quality lighting for evening play, and protection from the elements so families and friends can enjoy the courts day or night, rain or shine.

Our community needs a place where children, teenagers, adults, and families can be active and have fun together. There are currently no other courts with these amenities in Washington. But they will provide more than a place to play pickleball. They will be a gathering place where friendships are formed, families make memories, and people of all ages and skill levels feel welcome.

Every game played beneath the lights will reflect something of Solomon’s spirit—his energy, his athleticism, his friendship, and, most of all, his unforgettable smile.

Donations will help fund the construction and completion of the courts, including site preparation, court surfaces, lighting, nets, weather protection, seating, memorial signage, and other necessary improvements. Every contribution, no matter the amount, will help bring this vision to life. Please consider donating and sharing this page with others as we work together to honor Solomon and create a place of joy, connection, and community that will remain open to the public for generations to come.
