Hi, my name is Keiluv, a 7th grader at one of the middle school in Oakley. I was nominated by my Math teacher to take part on this opportunity to explore different future career opportunities, gain knowledge, build self confidence and enhance my leadership skills through the NYLF Explore STEM program. This program is uniquely designed to hone bright and forward thinking Middle School students through hands on simulations, workshops and competitions on the field of science, technology and math to name a few, and gaining social skills by meeting other students from different parts of the country.

I am thrilled to be nominated to such an amazing program and even more so to even be able to participate in it. I’m sure when given the opportunity to attend, I will gain a lot of knowledge and skills set that are going to be beneficial in finding my passion and building a career path in the near future. I am also very much excited to meet other bright students that will help me come out of my shell.

This program will begin in July 23,2023. So I hope that with your kind donations will help me and my parents pay for the cost of the program which includes room and board, simulations, lectures, curriculum and materials and staff.
