Building our dojo - Kyokushinkai Karate
Donation protected
We are from the Senjo Cairns Dojo, in the Northern Beaches of Cairns, Far North Queensland. We have the opportunity to purchase and relocate an existing building from Brisbane to Cairns to have our own Kyokushinkai Karate Dojo training facility here in the tropics. We currently share council space with other community groups. Our own facility will allow us to host camps, sponsor students, and attract other karate schools to visit and train in Cairns. Senjo Cairns Dojo caters to people of all ages to learn a traditional martial arts style with qualified instructors. The physical and mental health benefits of karate are well documented, as our members will attest to. The Senjo Cairns Dojo has students from all walks of life, family members, and a wide range of ages. We would appreciate any donation to assist us in establishing a permanent facility for the Dojo.
Instructor Profile: Our Cairns dojo is just one of the Senjo Dojos throughout Australia which offers you an authentic full contact karate experience, taught to you by one of Australia’s most experienced international full-contact fighters, Sensei Jason Crimmin, who has studied directly under one of Australia’s Kyokushin karate founding members and an original Mas Oyama Original branch chief, Trevor Field Shihan 7th Dan Head Instructor and owner of the SENJO DOJO group Australia wide.
Our target date to purchase the building is 15 December 2021.
