What started as a treehouse, a rural Oklahoma property, and a handful of adopted dogs slowly evolved into something much larger than originally imagined.
New Purpose Canine Foundation was not created as a traditional rescue operation, shelter system, or short-term adoption pipeline.
It was created from long-term commitment.
Sixteen of the foundation’s dogs were adopted through Second Chance Pet Rescue in Grove, Oklahoma, following circumstances that reflect broader challenges seen throughout rural communities — overcrowded shelters, abandoned animals, unplanned litters, housing instability, and limited long-term placement resources.
Over time, what began with a small number of adopted dogs gradually evolved into an actively developing environment centered around stability, structure, emotional grounding, long-term care, and meaningful human-canine connection.
Today, New Purpose Canine Foundation cares for 18 dogs within a rural environment that continues being built piece by piece through ongoing work, adaptation, maintenance, and long-term responsibility.
Nothing here is fully finished.
The property continues evolving. The environments continue developing. The infrastructure continues being improved over time through consistency, learning, upkeep, and practical long-term commitment.
As the mission continued growing, one practical reality became increasingly clear:
safe and reliable transportation has become essential.
Transporting 18 dogs across rural Oklahoma for veterinary care, supply transportation, emergency situations, infrastructure needs, and future outreach opportunities has increasingly outgrown the limits of standard personal transportation.
This fundraiser was created to help purchase a safe, reliable used transport bus that can support:
• veterinary transportation
• supply transportation
• emergency transportation needs
• long-term operational sustainability
• future educational and outreach opportunities
• and the continued development of the foundation itself
The goal is not perfection or luxury.
We fully understand that any used transport vehicle will still require maintenance, repairs, adjustments, and continued upkeep over time. We are fully prepared for that responsibility.
What matters most is creating a safer, more stable transportation solution that allows the foundation to continue operating responsibly as it grows.
A dedicated transport vehicle would immediately improve:
• multi-dog veterinary transportation
• emergency preparedness during severe weather or urgent situations
• supply and material transportation across the property
• operational efficiency in a rural environment
• and long-term sustainability for the dogs entrusted to this space
Alongside this fundraiser, meaningful personal items connected to different chapters of life and the ongoing treehouse journey may also be auctioned through TikTok as part of the broader effort supporting this mission.
At this stage in life, it feels more meaningful to allow certain things to continue serving something living, ongoing, and genuinely needed.
Every contribution, every share, and every act of support helps carry this work forward.
And genuinely:
thank you for helping us continue building something meaningful.
