Building Mosque for 160 reverted villagers in Kenya, Africa

My name is Ahmed Mohamed, I am designated lead fundraiser in the UK and Europe for the Kabisoge Village in Bomet Kenya - Objective is to Build a Mosque and Madrassa.

Alhamdulilah Thumma Alhamdullilah, we have yet been given another opportunity to give charity for the sake of Allah SWT.

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Charity does not decrease wealth, no one forgives another but that Allah increases his honor, and no one humbles himself for the sake of Allah but that Allah raises his status.”

Alhamdullilah, the Kabisoge village in Bomet Kenya East Africa has recently embrace our deen of Islam. The village consists of around 200 families of which 160 families have taken the shahada - Takbir "Allahu Akbar".

Their only Masjid is in Bomet town which is 7 kilometres away from the village. The newly reverted ummah is finding difficult to travel for their Salat, lessons in islam / Qur'an as new believers which has started slowing down their thirst to learn about our beautiful deen and also their life balance for their daily sustenance.

The Masjid committee has managed to buy land in the village and erected a temporary structure for salat, so that a Mosque and Madrassa can be build, hence our request for donations/ fundraising to build a Masjid and a Madrassa.

SubhanAllah, imagine being part of creating a new beloved space for Allah SWT on Earth. This masjid will be in a remote community which would have no opportunity to worship in a Masjid and benefit from the knowledge from the Imam and the dawah groups. Please help us bring this special place right to their door step.

“It was narrated that Abu Hurairah رَضِىَ اللهُ عَنْهَُ said: The beloved Rasool stated: The reward of the good deeds that will reach a believer after his death are: Knowledge which he taught and spread; a righteous son whom he left behind; a copy of Quran that he left as legacy; a Masjid that he built; a house that he built for travellers; a canal that he dug; or charity that he gave during his lifetime when he was in good health. These deeds will reach him after his demise.” ( Sunan Ibn e Majah Hadees 242)
