Our mission is twofold: to provide essential building and property restoration services to those in desperate need, and to forge stronger men through shared labor and worship.
This endeavor is a mission-focused men’s retreat designed to bridge the gap between spiritual growth and practical service. We gather a crew of men—with a specific focus on mentoring the next generation—to travel, live, and work together as a community of faith. Our days are anchored in God's Word, starting with morning worship before we head to the job site and ending with evening fellowship to reflect on our service. We don't just build structures; we build character, skills, and community.
Currently, we are planning to help a legally blind mother in Clifton, TN. Legally blind from birth and a survivor of severe domestic abuse, Alesha is now raising her 6-year-old daughter alone with meager support. Recent welfare changes have made it nearly impossible for her to survive on the little she receives, and she is about to lose her apartment. Thankfully, she has been provided with a house trailer, but it requires significant repairs before it can be livable. The trailer must be renovated and hooked up to electricity, water, and sewer, with an estimated cost of $8,000. She must leave her apartment by the beginning of next month, making this a critical and urgent need.
To make these "Working Retreats" possible, we need your support to cover:
- Project Materials: Lumber, hardware, and supplies to ensure these individuals have safe, functional homes and properties.
- Logistics & Travel: Fuel and transport for our crew and equipment to reach the project sites.
- Provisioning: Meals and basic accommodations for the men as they volunteer their time and labor.
- Tool Maintenance: Keeping our saws, milling equipment, and construction tools ready for heavy-duty service.
How Your Support Helps
- Empowering Service: Directly funds the materials needed to help individuals who are currently in desperate need of property help.
- Mentorship in Action: Provides a "classroom without walls" where young men learn trade skills like carpentry, milling, and property management under the guidance of experienced tradesmen.
- Spiritual Foundations: Supports a structured environment where men can grow in their faith through daily worship and communal living.
- Strengthening Community: Turns a standard "retreat" into a benevolent force that leaves a lasting, physical impact on the lives of the vulnerable.
If God is stirring your heart to help—whether through prayer, financial support, or other assistance, we would be very thankful for your support.
