Building Circles Flood Fund

Building Circles is a small, not for profit Charity who work tirelessly to prevent social isolation and loneliness for people with learning disabilities (we call them our focus people). In addition we run numerous courses for people with learning disabilities all aimed at preventing them from being abused or harmed. Most of our services are free of charge.
Having been in operation for over 15 years and having begged and borrowed office space during this time, the decision was made that we needed a space to call our own. It was a huge financial outlay for us but in October 2019 we moved into our very first office in Tewkesbury. We checked flood records and the area we were moving to had not flooded in many years. Fast forward to Feb 18th 2020 and the whole office is underwater, PC's are ruined, paperwork soaked, Christmas presents kindly donated for our focus people all destroyed!
This is totally devastating for us, we don't have much money and function on a shoestring supporting over 350 with learning disabilities, and over 90 volunteers. We are a small charity with a huge heart, with dedicated staff who really care and go above and beyond.
We are wanting to raise some much needed funds to help with the flood damage as well as allowing us to fit a pump to the building to stop this disaster re-occuring. Any donation small or large would be very gratefully received.
