The power of collective energy is immeasurable. I hope you’ll join me once again as I embark upon a leadership opportunity!
I’m ecstatic to share some exciting news and an opportunity to join me in making a difference.
I’ve been selected to be part of the Leadership Cobb 26 Class—an esteemed leadership development program in our community. This program is a powerful platform for me to grow as a leader, connect with other change-makers, and, most importantly, amplify my voice as an educator to the benefit of the students, staff, and communities I serve.
Having lived in Cobb County for most of my life, I feel a deep connection to this community and a strong desire to continue enhancing the lives I touch here. Over more than two decades in education, I’ve seen that the power to dream and lean on others yields incredible results.
Applying for this program was somewhat of a leap of faith. While some candidates are fortunate to have a corporate sponsorship, I do not have that same luxury. It’s a challenge I was aware of but also one that I was willing to take on. The program costs over $4,000 but I know I can count on my network of friends and colleagues to help offset some of that. That’s where you come in. I’m inviting my friends, family, and colleagues to consider contributing to the cost. Even giving in increments that honor my participation in Leadership Cobb Class of 2026—like $26.00—would be a meaningful gesture.
This past year, I leaned on many of you to support my school, $20.25 at a time. With support from many of you, we raised over $10,000.
Your support will directly empower me to leverage this experience to benefit the students I work with and to advocate for educational excellence in our community.
My goal is to create pathways for businesses and organizations to get involved in schools, providing time, thought, and resources to enhance education for all students.
Even if you’re unable to contribute financially, your encouragement and support mean the world to me.
Thank you for always standing by me in my mission to make a difference in education!
