Building Bridget’s Home
Donation protected
This is Bridget. She is a single mom of 7 and is one of the hardest working women I know. She lives in a village near Siavonga, Zambia in the southern part of Africa. As the country continues to advance, the council has condemned some houses in the village as unfit for the community and wants them them torn down and replaced with a block house. Bridget’s house is one of the mud huts left in the village that she built herself. She is now working very hard to try and build this house for her family while maintaining a job and enough income to split between necessities and her house project. She wakes up before work at 5 am to crush stones by hand for the gravel needed. She has torn down all but one small room for sleeping and is waiting for more money. Bridget has become a part of our family and we love her dearly! We are able to help send her kids to school and even provide an education for her special needs son. I have started this fundraiser to help Bridget build her block house. Any amount given will be such a blessing to her family! You are greatly appreciated. You are giving to an incredible woman!
