Hello and thank you for taking interest in my GoFundMe. My name is Elea Wheeler and I live in Wicklow, Ireland.

I’ve always had a special connection with plants and the natural kingdom. In the countryside where I live, I’m surrounded by wonderful wild flowers and herbs and in addition, I have created a magical herbal garden at my home. It has always been my dream to build a space where I can create my own herbal remedies.

Currently, I’m converting the porch in my house into an apothecary and I’m asking for your support with this.

I formalised my lifelong relationship with the plant world by training in Sacred Plant Medicine with the gifted medical herbalist Carole Guyett in County Clare for four years. My professional training led me to create my own range of herbal remedies a few years ago. I am delighted with them and have gotten very positive feedback from those who have used them.

Inspired by witnessing the gentle healing power of nature at work through my remedies, I realised how much more I could offer the world if I had a dedicated herbal space to work from. I began turning my porch into an apothecary, even though I was unsure how it was going to be possible to make it happen.

Having reached the halfway point, I have exhausted my finances and have to face the truth that this is not going to happen without help, which is why I am reaching out to you.

In these difficult times, I want to provide support, healing and compassion for others. Getting the apothecary completed will immensely help to make this vision possible.

To date, I’ve spent €5,500 on the building work and materials (much of which have been recycled). I need €6,000 to complete the project. Any donation that you can offer to help me would be greatly appreciated. No amount is too small to make a difference.
