My husband Badre and I are starting a gofundme in the hopes to build a well in Maaziz, Morocco as a Sadaqa Jariya project. This well will inshallah be built in my late father in laws childhood village to honor both my late in laws who passed this month.
Our hope is to launch this project before the end of Ramadan. We would like to take this opportunity to invite you all be a part of this special project. "Charity in Ramadan is multiplied, its reward is ample and its virtue is great due to the virtue and importance of this specific time."
Why water wells?
Because water not only is essential to the daily life of these communities, it can also upstart agricultural activities that could benefit a whole village.
Criteria for the project:
The water well is built by the locals and is open to the public and maintained by locals.
Cost per water well:
$2000 (labor, material, and equipment.) Below is the summary of where the funds will go:
- Construction
- Security cover (well cover for protection)
- Misc: Plumbing, electricity ,hoses ,wires ,faucets,
- Water tank
- Labor and maintenance
