I’m raising $80,000 to build a professional home for In Bed with Christy Love.

Now before you picture me asking for a gold-plated podcast chair and a microphone blessed by Beyoncé… let me reassure you.

This isn’t about building a fancy room so I can admire myself on camera.

Although… better lighting would be appreciated. At this age, soft lighting is less of a luxury and more of a public service.

This campaign isn’t really about cameras, lights, microphones, or a beautiful set.

It’s about creating a place where people finally feel safe enough to tell the truth.

I started In Bed with Christy Love because I believe we’re living in a world full of highlight reels and filtered lives, but very few honest conversations. We celebrate success but hide our pain. We perform confidence while quietly battling shame. We laugh in public and cry in private.

I wanted to create a space where none of that pretending is necessary.

A place where we can talk about the things people usually whisper about.

Faith.

Sex.

Trauma.

Addiction.

Identity.

Success.

Failure.

Relationships.

Forgiveness.

Mental health.

Comedy.

Redemption.

The conversations that remind us we’re all a little messy… and that’s okay.

If you’ve followed my journey, you know my life has never fit neatly into one category.

I’m an ordained pastor.

An adult actress.

A stand-up comedian.

An author.

A wife.

A podcaster.

Those titles don’t usually belong in the same sentence.

Honestly, they sound less like someone planned my life and more like God said, “Let’s keep this interesting.”

But that’s exactly why this podcast exists.

Because human beings are more complicated than labels.

I know what it’s like to be judged before someone knows my story.

I know what it’s like to have strangers decide who I am based on one chapter of my life.

I also know what it feels like to discover that grace is bigger than shame.

That’s what I want every episode to communicate.

Every guest who sits across from me is more than their career, reputation, fame, scandal, mistakes, or public image.

I want to discover the human being underneath all of it.

Already, I’ve had the privilege of sitting down with an incredible lineup of guests, including:

• Brad Williams – One of the biggest touring comedians in the world, with Netflix specials, sold-out theaters across the country, and regular appearances on major television and radio shows.

• Phil Donlon – Veteran actor best known for NBC’s Chicago Fire, with a career spanning television, film, and theater.

• James Bartholet – Accomplished actor with more than 200 television and film credits, appearing in productions including General Hospital, CSI, Bones, 24, Criminal Minds, Dexter, and many more.

• Rosie Tran – International comedian, TEDx speaker, travel journalist, and bestselling author whose story of resilience has inspired audiences around the world.

• Lucky Starr – Adult entertainer, entrepreneur, and creator who openly shares her journey through the adult industry, relationships, business, and personal growth.

• Jeff Hodge – Comedian, educator, and longtime performer whose unique perspective combines humor with life’s everyday lessons.

And this is only the beginning.

Every conversation reminds me that behind every successful person is someone who has struggled, questioned themselves, failed, healed, laughed, cried, and kept going.

Those are the stories that change people.

Because someone listening right now may be carrying shame.

Someone may believe they’re too broken for God.

Someone may think their past has permanently disqualified them.

Someone may look successful on the outside while quietly falling apart inside.

Someone may only need one honest conversation to realize they’re still loved, still worthy, and that their story isn’t over.

That’s why this mission matters.

I don’t just want to build a podcast studio.

I want to build a place where stories help heal people.

Right now I rent podcast studios whenever they’re available. That means scheduling around other productions, racing against the clock, packing equipment, unpacking equipment, and trying to create something meaningful before someone politely reminds me my rental time is up.

A permanent studio would allow me to record consistently, welcome even bigger guests, improve production quality, produce more episodes every month, and create a space that feels intimate, beautiful, safe, and worthy of the conversations taking place inside it.

Your support also helps far beyond the studio itself.

Creating meaningful conversations is only half the battle.

People have to discover them.

That’s why part of this fundraiser will also go toward hiring a professional public relations agency and investing in strategic marketing to help the podcast reach millions more people through television appearances, magazine features, podcasts, online publications, social media campaigns, and national media opportunities.

Because even the most life-changing conversation can’t change a life if nobody ever hears it.

The funds raised will help cover professional cameras, lighting, microphones, audio equipment, studio construction, furniture, set design, editing equipment, production expenses, and professional PR and marketing to grow the show and expand its impact.

My goal is to raise $80,000.

Whether you give $10, $25, $100, or more, you’re not just helping build a studio.

You’re helping build a platform where people can laugh, cry, wrestle with difficult questions, rediscover hope, and remember they are more than the worst thing they’ve ever done.

You’re helping create a place where honesty is celebrated instead of punished.

Where contradictions are welcomed instead of hidden.

Where grace has the final word.

If my story has ever made you laugh, challenged your perspective, encouraged you, comforted you, or simply reminded you that you’re not alone, I would be incredibly grateful for your support.

And if giving isn’t possible right now, sharing this campaign with someone else is an incredible gift too.

Thank you for believing in me.

Thank you for believing in this mission.

Thank you for helping build something that I truly believe will impact lives for years to come—one honest conversation at a time.

Jesus loves you.

And so do I.
