Hello and thank you for considering supporting our fundraising campaign. My name is Jessie and I'm originally from the UK. I am excited to introduce you to the African Animal Rescue Centre, a Lusaka based sanctuary that was established in 2021.

At the African Animal Rescue Centre, we are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming abandoned, neglected, and abused dogs and cats. We also provide a permanent home for disabled, senior, and unadoptable rescues on our 8 acre farm. Our work extends beyond just caring for individual animals, as we also engage in community outreach through school visits, pet vaccination and neuter campaigns, and a stray cat trap-neuter-release program.

One thing that sets us apart is our commitment to never putting a healthy animal down. We do everything in our power to rescue animals and provide them with the necessary medical care, and we remain with them until they have finished their treatment or until they find the right home.

At our sanctuary, we currently provide a home for over 100 puppies, dogs, cats, and kittens. However, we have bigger plans to expand our facilities in order to help even more animals in need, including wildlife and agricultural rescues. This will also require hiring additional staff to care for all of these creatures. Our goal is not only to provide a safe and loving home for animals, but to also be an educational hub for animal care, welfare, and community outreach.

We want people, especially children, to visit our sanctuary and learn about kindness, care, and welfare for different types of animals. Through our educational programs, we hope to inspire a new generation of animal advocates and caregivers.

To keep our doors open, feed animals in need, and provide crucial veterinary care, we need your help. Your support will enable us to continue our important work and make a positive impact on the lives of countless animals.
