Building a Prayer Square

Hello Everyone!
My name is Michael Ventrice, I am an Eagle Scout Candidate from Troop 12 Pleasantville and I am working on my Eagle Project. For the past three weeks, I have been building a "Prayer Square" for Holy Name of Jesus Church in Valhalla, NY. The purpose of my project is to provide people with a private area to pray, meditate, and meet. With the assistance of some members of my Boy Scout troop and adult volunteers, we are building a wooden deck surrounded by evergreen plantings. In addition to the work I have done so far, I am planning to move benches from the rear of the church, and install a statue of Jesus as the focal point of the deck.
The total cost has gone far beyond what I had expected, One reason is the price of lumber increasing significantly due to the Covid-19 pandemic. I am asking for your donation to help offset the cost of my materials. All additional donations will be donated to the church.
My most recent progress was finishing the floor of the deck and then later on planting three types of shrubs around it.
