Building a Masjid in Memory of My Parents

Assalamu Alaikum, dear brothers and sisters. We humbly seek support and assistance as we cope with a devastating loss. Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) has summoned both of my dear parents back to Him in less than 10 months. In this time of grief, we aim to honour their memory and accomplish their desire for ongoing charity in the afterlife by building a masjid in their name.

The death of our parents has left us emotionally exhausted and financially burdened due to the expenses for both funerals and the urgent need to travel to Bangladesh to lay our father to rest has depleted all of our funeral resources. Regrettably, this has hindered our ability to fulfil our parents' cherished wish of continuous acts of charity on their behalf.

Their lives were an embodiment of love, kindness, and compassion. In their honour, we seek to construct a masjid, a sacred place of worship. This mosque will not only serve as a lasting tribute to their selflessness but also ensure the perpetual flow of blessings to their souls in the hereafter. We humbly seek your support for our project. We estimate that we require £6,000 to cover the expenses associated with construction materials, skilled labour, and other necessary costs.
