Building a Literacy Nest (Library)

Our awesome school, West Michigan Academy of Environmental Science (WMAES) hasn't had an actual library for years. This year, Mrs. Silveira and I, have started a small library in our small group classroom. Because of popular demand and tons of book donations, we are running out of space. We are trying to expand the use of the library and with that we need something to put books on. We would love to get matching bookshelves since most of our books are on mismatched, falling apart bookshelves. Plus we have many books still in boxes because we don't have enough shelf space. Our students love to come check out books, and we would love for them to be able to see the books we have and not worry about shelves falling apart. We are hoping to raise these funds by May 18 in order to get them started during the summer for the next school year. We greatly appreciate any donation you can give to help our students enjoy our new library. We are so excited to put books on these shelves and get them into the hands of our students! #WeLoveTeachers
