Building a Library at Escola Maramar in Brazil

Hi everyone,

once again we are raising funds for Escola Maramar, a non-profit organization in an isolated area at Peninsula de Maraú in Bahia, Brazil.

The school was established in 2011 to support underprivileged families and it currently provides education to 98 children from preschool through 5th grade.

Escola Maramar has been growing steadily over the years thanks to donations and partnerships with expert educators who donate their time to this project. Their teachings are based on humane pedagogy and incorporate local resources and traditions.

When our group fundraised in 2021, our goal was to offer funds for the school to buy furniture for their classrooms. Our friends and family were so generous that we ended up providing enough for them to also build a playground!

Our current request is for donations that Escola Maramar will use to build a library for their children - they need both the space and the books. It would be wonderful if you could support this initiative.

We are accepting donations until March 26th through this GoFundMe, and you can also contact us to contribute via PIX (094.031.327-87) if you live in Brazil. The school pledges to plant one tree for every $50 raised.
