In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate.

We are raising funds to build a mosque in Asia as a form of sadaqah jariyah (continuous charity) in loving memory of our father, Muhammad Arshad, who passed away after bravely battling cancer.

Our father was a kind, humble, and God fearing man who always encouraged charity, prayer, and helping others. Although he is no longer with us, we hope to continue earning reward on his behalf through an act of charity that will benefit generations to come, insha’Allah.

The funds raised will go directly towards:

• Constructing a mosque for a local community in need

• Providing a place for daily prayers, Jumu’ah, Qur’an recitation, and Islamic education

• Creating a lasting house of worship where Allah is remembered daily

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:

مَنْ بَنَى لِلَّهِ مَسْجِدًا بَنَى اللَّهُ لَهُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ مِثْلَهُ

“Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.”

— Sahih al-Bukhari (Hadith 450) & Sahih Muslim (Hadith 533)

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ also said:

إِذَا مَاتَ الإِنْسَانُ انْقَطَعَ عَنْهُ عَمَلُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ ثَلَاثٍ: صَدَقَةٍ جَارِيَةٍ، أَوْ عِلْمٍ يُنْتَفَعُ بِهِ، أَوْ وَلَدٍ صَالِحٍ يَدْعُو لَهُ

“When a person dies, all of their deeds come to an end except three: ongoing charity (sadaqah jariyah), beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for them.”

— Sahih Muslim (Hadith 1631)
