On October 18, 2024, Esteban’s mother passed away unexpectedly. She was a light in her community. She was kind, compassionate, and someone who truly changed lives. Her loss is deeply felt.
Now, Esteban is grieving while facing financial hardship and managing Type 1 diabetes, a condition that requires daily insulin, an insulin pump replaced every three days, and a glucose monitor replaced every ten. Without stable insurance, these essentials are incredibly costly.
Even through this, Esteban is pushing forward. He hopes to become a special education aide and substitute teacher and plans to start graduate school this July for his teaching credential and master’s degree.
He wants to carry on his mother’s legacy of helping others. I believe in him.
I hope you’ll consider supporting him too. No one should have to go through something like this alone.
