My name is Kylie Machado. I am a Program Coordinator/Teacher for adults with developmental disabilities.

I am working to open a cafe and coffee shop that will foster inclusion and equal opportunity for individuals with developmental disabilities. My vision is to create a safe, supportive work environment where these individuals can grow, learn valuable life skills, and serve the community with delicious food and drinks. I believe everyone deserves a chance to be seen for their abilities and appreciated for who they are, not just their diagnoses.

Currently, I am working paycheck to paycheck, but I am determined to make this dream a reality. The funds I raise will go directly toward start-up costs—helping me secure equipment, create a welcoming space, and provide training and support for my future team. This cafe is about more than just coffee; it's about building a community where everyone feels valued and empowered.
