Go Fund Me
Hello, my name is Naomi Gibson, the daughter and sister of a large family who helped me believe deeply in the power of education. My parents spent there lives trying to provide, but education in Liberia was expensive and not accessible to everyone. Some of my thirteen siblings were able to attend, some were not. This experience helped shape my belief in providing free education and resources for children in Liberia. This project does not seek recognition, but is striving to build a legacy of kindness, sacrifice, and a deep commitment to lifting others up.
We are currently in the construction process and have purchased a whole schools worth of desks, tables, chairs, and other equipment from a school auction in Waterloo, Iowa. I am raising $20,000 in funds to ship all the equipment and furniture to our free school in Liberia, a country in West Africa. This school will provide children from underserved communities the chance to learn, grow, and dream—opportunities they might not otherwise have.
Education, for my family, was hard to access but it was a way to empower and transform lives. And it is with that same belief that I am creating this space for the children of Liberia.
Why This Matters
This project is about hope. In many parts of West Africa, children still don’t have access to basic education. I want to change that. The school will serve as a foundation, where children can begin to unlock their full potential. This isn’t just a building—it’s a place where futures will be shaped, where dreams can be realized.
By contributing to this project, you’re not just donating; you’re becoming part of something lasting. You are not just supporting a school—you are helping build a legacy that will impact generations to come.
We are in dire need of funds to transport this equipment overseas to the school site. Pictures of the school and some of our helpers are below:

How Funds Will Be Used
The funds raised will go directly to funding transportation costs associated with shipping desks, chairs, and learning materials to Liberia, West Africa.
I am personally covering a significant portion of the costs, but I want you to be part of this journey with me. Every contribution, no matter how small, will play a key role in making this vision a reality.
Together, we can create a place of learning that
will change the lives of children in Africa for years to come.
Thank you for being part of this important cause. Your support is not just a donation—it’s a step toward a brighter future for so many.
