THE FUTURE IS INDIGENOUS WOMEN IN BUSINESS. JOIN THE MOVEMENT AND DONATE TO THE 2019 NATIVE WOMEN’S BUSINESS SUMMIT!

Native Women Lead was created to revolutionize systems and inspire innovation. By investing in Native women in business, Native Women Lead is co-creating and convening with Indigenous communities to build coalition, while honoring culture, creativity, and connection.

We invite you to join the movement as an ally for the 2019 Native Women’s Business Summit, which is taking place April 5th-6th in Isleta Pueblo, NM. Building off the momentum of its inaugural event last year, the 2019 Native Women’s Business Summit is quickly promising to be another “her-storic” event!

The 2019 Summit is designed for Native women entrepreneurs at various stages in business development to connect and build ecosystem, while acquiring more skills to advance their talent and leadership. We are at a significant social and cultural time when Native representation is expanding, and we are ecstatic to see more Native women in leadership roles.

As Native women’s presence in the business, entrepreneurial, and leadership realms continues to advance, there is the critical need for a safe and inclusive space to explore culturally relevant content. We know that Native women are the backbone of the community. We also know that Native women-owned business are growing. In 2017, Native Americans/Alaskan Natives owned 1.4% of all women-owned businesses, employed 61,300 workers, and generated $11 billion in revenue! Since 1997, Native women-owned businesses have grown 201%! The 2019 Summit embraces Native women as emerging entrepreneurs and leaders, and encourages them to weave their ideas, community and culture into their endeavors.

We invite you to be a part of this phenomenal movement and with your donation, you will empower Native women to manifest change. From the words of a 2018 Summit attendee, “For the first time, as an Indigenous woman small business owner, the Summit made me feel like I belonged, my words were valuable, and my presence was appreciated. I went home feeling empowered, energized, and focused. The experience will change you.”
