BUILD THEM BACK: Emily Hand needs our support

On October 7th, 2023, an unspeakable terror attack shook the core of Israel and good people worldwide, leading to Emily (8), to being held hostage for 49 harrowing days. During this time, she faced horrors that are beyond words without her dad to protect her. The tragedy decimated her home, took away beloved members of her close-knit community through murder or kidnapping, with many still in captivity.

Finally freed on November 25th, 2023, Emily now faces the long, challenging journey of healing from the deep-seated trauma that will, unfortunately, be a part of her life forever.

This fund is a beacon of hope dedicated to supporting her brave soul in her quest for healing and rebuilding her shattered life. Every dollar raised will provide a lifeline of mental and physical support — covering housing, nourishment, clothing, and other essential needs — in the days, months, and years to come as she strives to regain a semblance of normalcy.

About Emily

Emily's mother died a few years ago from cancer and she is raised by her dad, Tomas and her dad’s ex-wife, Narkis. She was staying for a sleepover at a friend’s home, and was considered to have been murdered in the attack on Kibbutz Be’eri. Weeks after October 7th it was concluded that she was likely kidnapped and today came her anticipated release. Narkis, Emily’s adoptive mom, was murdered on October 7th.

Now, more than ever, Emily needs our unwavering support.
