Sisters Keepers is a grassroots nonprofit dedicated to uplifting young Black girls aged 12–18 through mentorship, leadership training, community service, and access to books, resources, and scholarships.
Our mission is to unite a global community to inspire, support, engage, equip, and unleash the brilliance of Black girls aged 12–18 through mentoring, education, leadership development, and culturally responsive wellbeing support. Through our programs, we nurture their potential and foster a generation of confident leaders committed to creating lasting impact through service and innovation.
Why We Need Your Help
Many young Black girls face barriers to education, mentorship, leadership development, and mental wellbeing support. With your support, we can expand both direct programming for girls and the training of trusted facilitators who deliver these programs safely, ethically, and with cultural care.
Your contribution allows us to:
Provide Scholarships: Helping promising girls stay in school, attend college, or participate in specialized programs.
Distribute Books: Supplying culturally relevant books that ignite a lifelong love of reading and learning.
Support Community Service Projects: Funding initiatives led by and for young Black girls, fostering leadership and community impact.
Train Facilitators in Mental Health & Peer Coaching: Equipping community leaders to deliver our Peer Coaching Mental Health & Wellbeing program, creating safe spaces where young girls can build resilience, confidence, and supportive peer networks.
