The club moved to new facilities in Thonabrocky, Rahoon in 2006 and has over 600 members for both Hurling and Camogie.
In 2017 John Hanbury created history by being the first member of the club to win a Senior All Ireland Hurling medal with Galway. Rahoon Newcastle won the County Intermediate Hurling title in 1977.
The club are commencing the rebuilding of the hurling wall to cater for the many new young members who are joining the club on a daily basis. We want to increase the astro surface area and extend the walls and add in new lighting. The aim is to build the wall by December 2019.
