Palisades fire relief for the Rawn family.

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

I am reaching out for my boyfriend's family, the Rawns. Since 1972, Imgard and Andy have lived in the Palisades. And also his uncle who currently lost his home completely to the the fire along with his belongings.

Wednesday afternoon, as the fire spread and evacuation orders were placed, Andy and Imgard, who were out of the house at the time, were unable to return to their residence and unable to retrieve their pets and valuables.

Thursday night, their grandson Bryson, his father, and I went on an undercover mission, hiking the back routes of the mountain past police enforcements and barricades. We entered into the midst of the fire zones to save those animals.

This is a confusing time, and our hearts go out to those families who are affected by these fires.

Grateful that our family is safe. What we saw is devastating; the Palisades will never be the same. While we wait for the fires to be contained, we ask for help in this time of transition as we prepare for a life very different from the one we knew.

This help will allow his uncle get back on his feet and give support to his grandparents who are elderly and resources are limited
