Build School For Children In Africa
My name is Arman Virani and my family has partnered with the Institute for Rural Education and Development to help fund and build a new preschool in the small village of Bukedea, Uganda in Africa. In this area many children are orphaned before they are 18 years old. The illiteracy rate for children over 10 years old is 72%.
The first 6 years of a child's life have been shown to be important in their development. Children at this age who are cared for and have positive educational experiences are better positioned to have brighter futures.
