Build Purley Masjid - Triathlon
As-Salamu Alaiykum,
I’m embarking on my first sprint triathlon (http://www.triproject.co.uk/events/redhill-sprint-triathlon1/) in order to raise money for the rebuild of a much needed new Masjid for our community.
We want to be able to provide a Masjid that can cater for our growing community and this project will deliver just that - insh’Allah. Plans have already been submitted and work will start as soon as they are approved and the build funding is in place.
Jazak’Allah to those who supported me as an Amabassador last Ramadan to raise £5000. I’ve now pledged to raise a further £5000 towards the Build Purley Masjid project and need your support - Insh’Allah.
We are simply custodians of money in this life and we have a responsibility to use what we have been given wisely. Those who donate will always see the benefit and blessings coming back many times over and ultimately the below Hadith should encourage everyone to invest in their Akhira.
Narrated/Authority of Umar bin Al-Khattab:
"I heard the Messenger of Allah (saw) say: 'Whoever builds a masjid (mosque) in which the Name of Allah is mentioned, Allah will build a house for him in Paradise.'" (Sahih)
Please donate generously as every penny will help as we need a final push to generate funds for the rebuild project so that we have the Masjid in place before next Ramadan - Insh'Allah.
